The Institute for Technology Advancement (ITA) is established to support UCLA and the Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science in the three following ways:

Develop New Multi-Disciplinary Research Efforts

• Identify new opportunities and funding sources.
• Work with faculty to shape, propose, and win new funding programs.

Support and Grow Potential Spin-Off Technologies

• Provide facilities and funding to start new companies.

Facilitate Industry Access to UCLA Engineering

• Enable near-term research and development projects to support industry needs.
